The AYF is an apolitical, non-religious charitable organization dedicated to giving children space, time and experience to help them to develop their self-esteem and self-confidence through the medium of Adventure Education. Most of all we make our activities FUN!
We believe that all young people, regardless of circumstance or ability should have the opportunity to realise their true potential in order for them to live healthy, fulfilling lives – making a positive contribution to their community and to society in general.
We want to inspire young people from a diverse range of backgrounds, through the challenge of adventure activity and guided residential experiences in specialist outdoor environments, providing a uniquely powerful and extremely effective environment for their personal development.
Through shared challenges and outdoor adventure AYF aims to empower young people to discover their true potential by:

Taking on a Corporate Challenge Weekend with us offers you an opportunity to move your business forward, whether by rewarding your staff, creating networking opportunities for regional team members, providing an opportunity to foster team unity or treating your clients.
The difference you can make
By taking part in a corporate challenge weekend you enable us to deliver adventure events to more young people. Our Adventure Challenge programmes aim to inspire young people to build confidence, learn life skills, gain qualifications and choose positive directions for their lives. Many young people have told us that taking part in a challenge has provided them with a life changing experience.
The cost involved
We ask that each team raise a total of €6k (€500 per head) to help provide funding for those young people who cannot afford to pay for the Adventure Activities themselves. Half the money raised will go towards the cost of running the corporate weekend, and the other half will go towards our young people, so the more money you raise, the more young people we can help.
